Upwork would be a great fit with LinkedIn, another great acquisition. Great way to enhance the value of running personal name searches, especially as we move away from salaried position contracting.

Google or Bing could also leverage the massively structured talent pool that is Upwork by enhancing personal name searches with that data.

BTW, Hotmail was a great acquisition but obviously they didn’t execute on it, as Gmail essentially has become what Hotmail promised to be, ie, *the* web-based email platform.
